a friend of mine imports vw vanagon pickups on occasion from Canada, when he
can find them  (there is a HUGE market for the 80-91 vw Vanagon/Transporter
single and doublecabs (T3) here in the US believe it or not) and these were
never sold here in the US but they do meet US specs. you just have to change
the speedo from kph to mph and theyre pretty much the same thing as a regular
vanagon van as far as fuel injection, exhaust, etc.   i imagine the UrQ is
the same, as far as importing.  should be fairly easy.
