Blinking Temp Light

I believe the blinking temp light means the resevior
is low, or your car is overheating, my temp Guage does
not read that im overheating, but the temp light keeps
on blinking, ive drivin it around and filled the
resiviour to its high point then the light turns off
temporarely, but only till the engine temp goes back
up to a little over halfway then the temp light begins
a blinkin again, its nice that it has the decency to
go with my music but its beginning to bother me, its
an 84 4000 S Quattro, and if anyone has any ideas on
what might be causeing it, i might also mention that i
recently replaced all the belts, and all the hoses,
had the radiotor cleaned, then hit some big rocks and
replaced all the radiator mounts... thanks to anyone
that has any ideas on the matter what so ever!
