Blinking Temp Light

Ok, so you are either losing coolant steadily or there is a lot of air
in the system, slowly making its way to the expansion tank and dropping
the level.  I'd vote for the leak, unfortunately.  Is there any evidence
on the ground of such a leak?  Sickly sweet smell when the heater is
on?  Wet floormats?

It could just be a bad/sticky level sender thingie, but it seems you
keep having to add more and more coolant.

You might want to try to find that leak and fix it before it lets go
catastrophically or even just inconveniently.
