5KCSTQ shifter linkage removal

I use a stout mallet (aka BFH) and a really large screwdriver to remove
the actual shift lever ball on the cross shaft lever, as well as on the
little cross link.  I use a lift, and it may be a LOT more difficult to
do this on the ground.  The right side locating rod forward end has a
circlip on a post rather than a ball/cup configuration.  Beating on this
one will just cause you grief.  HTH, John
