After more investigation, the subframe is not bent as far as I had first
thought.
I purchased some ramps (love these X-mas tool sales), and examined the car
for the first time with the suspension loaded.
Previously I had only scrutinized attachments with the car on stands. This
can be deceptive, and knowing this in the past I had put pressure on given
components etc., and thought I had a good test of various parts. The ramps
(Rhino Ramps) work very well and were worth every penny.
Ends up the driver front (radiator side for across the ponders) subframe bolt
was loose. With the weight on the wheels I could move the SF up and down
easily by hand. I have new SF bushings on the shelf that were supposed to go
in 2 weeks ago.
Now that that's tight, the WOT switch goes sporadic. It's always something.
Thanks to all the responded.
Dennis
