New Wheels for A8

So I picked up a new set of wheels from the guy who lives across from my
Dad. I don't know anybody who owns an Audi (practically) but to think a guy
who lives across the street from my Dad has a A6 4.2 with the awesome five
spoke wheels.....

Soon after he got the car, he replaced them with brand new BBS wheels that
he bought and had them chromed. IMO, they really don't do anything for the
car....the old wheels look awesome!

Was washing my car at my parents this weekend, he was out, so I went over
and introduced myself. I asked him if he still had them and wanted to sell
them. He said sure, no problem. I know the offset is different (17x8 ET 35)
so I told him that I would have to see if they would fit....but there are no
tires on them.

These wheels are like new! They are so beautiful......polished, he even gave
me all the Audi bolts and bolt caps, plus the wheels have the center cap!

Thinking I would easily pay $1,000 for them, I told him that I would give
him $800.....he said no problem and I took them!

I recently bought a set of Blizaks for my stock 16" wheels.....gonna have
them mounted this week, throw out the old Goodyears....then keep them for my
winter wheels and then probably find a set of tires for the 17" wheels over
the winter, probably on ebay.....
