Chime from hell.

Hi!

Looking for BTDT info on the door/key warning chime for a 89-91 200q.
Mine started chiming away for no apparent reason. All doors are closed. As
soon as the key is inserted into ignition and turned, it begins and
doesn't stop sounding until the key is removed.
All underhood fuses are OK. All lights, accessories appear to work as they
did before the chiming started. I couldn't check the under-dash fuses as
it was too dark and wasn't sure how to remove the dash cover.

I had a 4-hour drive back to Boston last night, with it metronoming all
the way! I think I found a new interrogation method. If used on the
Taliban, I'm sure they'll reveal Bin Laden's hideout!
