'90 100 air bag recall..light is now on

Come on, you've got to be kidding, right????  Annoying would be a light
that stays on all the time.

I have an airbag light problem on my 1990 200Q as well.  I had the
airbag
recall done a year ago and had no problems since.  Then last month the
alternator went taking the battery with it.  After having both replaced
the
airbag light has remained on for about 2 minutes after startup.  After
hooking it up to their computer the dealer said the resistance on the
bulb
was off and it needed to be replaced (2 hours labor to remove the dash).
Since the light does go out, I've put off replacement, but it is very
annoying.
