Interchangable alternators for 5k?

Has anyone found any other vehicles that use the same/similar alternator as=
 the 5k/t/q? Just to see if there are lower prices by going to another make=
/model of car. Also, I was more interested in finding a higher capacity alt=
ernator through these means. Any btdt's? A different pulley is no problem, =
so long as the oem pulley can be fitted.
