You're correct. I was at the Factory for business this past January. Part of
the business was a private tour. And the tour guide (not the standard guide,
but an executive) confirmed the hols are drilled. The venting "vanes" are
cast, and there are small indentions cast into the rotors for where the
drilling should take place, but the holes ARE drilled.
