I thought only Detroit cars came with built in rattles and other annoyances.
We've all heard about the coke bottle in the door of the Cadillac & other
urban legends but my favorite story came from my uncle who was a Buick
mechanic in Milwaukee for many years. After numerous trips back to the shop
they finally found the source of the odor on a new Electra 225 - someone's
rotting sandwhich stuck up inside the heater vents.
A few door shims don't sound too bad, Jan Lahtonen
