'90 100 air bag recall..light is now on

As I recall, the recall was to replace the controller, which on recalled
cars (not all had the problem, but they had to access the controller to
find out) could accidentally fire the air bag without there being an
accident. It should be listed in the NHTSA recall list, though I forgot
the code. As for whether or not the bag is still good, I don't know, and
I'd like to find out. THe list seems to have published several updates as
to when the bag should be replaced which was originally 10 years. Now, I
seem to recall it is about 15. Anyone else know? (don't want a leaky bag
going off in MY face 'cuz I didn't replace it. Can you say HOT?)
