3" exhaust

Your resonance issue could probably be fixed by changing mufflers to
one with two smaller diameter outlets instead of one 3".  This well,
in effect "tune out" some of the lower frequency harmonics.  This
worked very well on two cars I was involved in exhaust fabrication
for.  I have a wav file of a stainless system on an Alfa 164 that I
was going to attach, but it's 1.7 megs, so I decided agiant that.  It
sounds great outside the car, yet inside, there is absolutely NO
annoying resonance.  (I can't take the credit for this system, but we
used what we learned from this one on the other car)
