'85 4000s cold start problem

I found this car for sale and everything apparently seems to be in good
condition except for the cold start thing. The owner says it's probably a
stuck sensor. I would like to know if anybody has had similar problems with
the same model, and if you have, how did you fix it and how much did it
cost?
