Clutch master? Slave?

The brake cylinder reservoir does have fluid above the level of
the hose that goes to the m-cyl/clutch.

Either one of the cylinders died or a hose has a leak(the hose).

Will get out there during daylight to diagnose - I guess the
question is whether a master can fail like that - returns to
the top just fine, has little resistance going to the floor.
