Yes. One thing that really makes an older car
seem new again is a new windshield. My 200 had
about 210K miles on it when a rock ding turned
into a long crack. The replacement windshield
transformed the driving experience. I'd rate
the transformation along the lines of changing
DOT headlights to Euros (with 80/100w bulbs).
Between the new windshield and Euro lights,
nighttime driving became a pleasure.
But it was pricey. Shops quoted from US$650 to
US$1000 for the windshield. With my deductible,
it was still $400 out of pocket.
