More clutch slave/master

OK! Getting somewhere. Spoke with the owner of the car(prior
to me, 86 5kcsq), who had it sitting in his lot for a year.

He had forgotten that when he started driving it in anticipation
of selling, the clutch pedal had stayed on the floor once - he
pulled it back, it was "fine since." OK, fair enough(wish
he'd remembered that tidbit;). No complaints.

I looked at the hose this morning, no apparant leaks. Dry,
a little oily dirt stuck to it. Seems OK.

So, it is either the master or slave. Master seems easy
enough, from reading the archives, just gotta fight with
that 6mm bolt that's pointed at the feed line or whatever.
I can deal with that.

The slave, however, gets many different opinions in the
archives WRT replacement - some people say "10 minutes,"
others say "pain in the @$$," yet others say "never had
to replace one."

My current plan is simply to get the car back on the road
asap. Going to do the master first, as I suspect that is
the culprit(no pressure whatsoever, no leaks,
fluid level in brake reservoir fine). Once it moves,
I'll schedule a time to get the car to a more appropriate
place to do the slave.

However, if the master does not do the trick, I'll be
doing the slave in the parking garage. Yuk.

Any tips for doing the slave? It is held in place with a
pin, from what I can gather/see in the manual. Any tips
for knocking it out? Roughly speaking, what is the
diameter of this pin? The car recently had a clutch(10k
ago), dunno why one would not replace it at that time,
but whatever - I doubt it'll get stuck to the
tranny, assuming they removed it as opposed to the hose
when removing the box.

Any tips appreciated - I'm working with limited time and
daylight, would like to glean as much experience as I can
before traipsing out there, flashlight in hand.

I do love these cars, but sometimes......
