RW-question (LAC)

Hi

The Audi content here is, that I´m afraid, I just lost
all my Audi-files. I had collected and organized 
quite lots of Audi pics and technical material.

My hard drive collapsed last week. Ok -no problem,
because I had a safety copy at the CD, or I did
think so. I did use for it the Direct CD and did not
( of course ) finish the disk. Now my RW does not
read that copy, couldn´t even finish it.
 
Took it to a "specialist". He could finish the disk,
but not read. I was told that the disk should be
finished after using the Direct CD, but why should
I then use it? To just burn all files, there is better 
software. My idea was to add new files to the safe 
every week and that´s why I did not close it. In my 
opinion the Direct CD started to suck...

Does anybody please know, if there is any software,
or ways to try to save those files in that disk?
