No start on 97 A4 2.8

Yes, they do have bad batteries.  Mine died on my 98.5 1.8T in March of
this year with 30K on the ODO.  Like an idiot, I took it to Schaumburg
Audi who proceeded to charge me $190 for a new Bosch battery.  The story
was that the "brain" needed re-programming after the battery swap,
that's why so much...  Lesson learned, that's why I bought the Bentley.
