Treser-Upside down CIS

Phil, if what you describe is right, how did the car run??  If the airflow
plate is not moving inside the cone, it has no ability to control fueling
except for idle, once the plate lifts, it will be in open space.  Also, the
way you describe it,it seems that the air would come up thourgh the unit, and
pull the flapper into the cone, how was it that the plate was moving in the
opposite direction of the air flow?

Bizarre!  If the plate moves beyond the lower (rest) boundary of the cone
then the cone can't serve its function.  Either someone removed
the stop spring or Treser doesn't know how CIS works (unlikely...)!
