sounds right.  Sometimes it gets confusing because if a bolt has a shoulder 
one of the dimensions could be referring to the shoulder length.  In those 
cases I usually just physically measure the damn thing :-)

whenever they don't list the pitch it usually means it is "coarse" thread.  
There are standard course thread sizes depeding on the bolt/nut diameter.  A 
competent fastener place will know what you are talking about if you ask for 
coarse thread.
