Dash speakers..

First of all, thanks to the list for putting in touch with the 'bomb' 
recharge info.
Next : '86 5KTQW
1. After replacing the L.F. dash speaker with a known quantity, it seems 
that its the signal that was missing. Does this signal come from the 
crossover network, or is it just paralleled at some other point?
2. Where is the crossover for the front speakers? In the door? Ifso, I guess 
that would explain the loss of signal, what with the door harness woes these 
things are prone to.

it.
