Flywheel timing issues

probably 6 degrees BTDC, which is the stock timing for the cgt.  Of
course with your turbo engine you may need a different static timing
setting.  When I finally bought me a timing light, I decided to get the
"best" and picked up an "advance" timing light - it has a little knob on
the back that lets you set the advance, all you have to do then is line
up the "O" mark when the knob indicates the timing you want.  Also handy
if you don't know the timing on a vehicle, just turn the knob until the
"O" mark turns up, then read it.

You could also, in your copious free time, count the flywheel teeth (I
think Phil has this number memorised, of course) and work from that
number.  Is it 72?  Hmmm, funny, that's 360/5, a nice round number.
