UFO brakes?

UFO's are internal caliper brake rotors as seen

They were Audi's answer to providing increased braking surface within the 
confines of 15-inch wheels, which were the most common wheel size for 
performance tires when the V8 and 200q20vt cars were developed.  They're 
called UFO's because the rotors look something like the popular image for 
flying saucers.
