The "bilev" mode in type 44's produces a small amount of cool fresh air
from the front vents. The manual specifically states that it will be
cooler than air from other vents when heating(I find BILEV mode almost
completely useless in the summer.) I don't recall if it also
mentions driver awareness or if I heard that on the list...half of me
suspects the climate control system was built, and someone drove the car,
cool air came out of the front vents instead of warm air, keeping Fritz
awake on his long drive to another office, and when he got in,
complemented the engineers on the nice feature, and the answer was,
"Wha...I mean, yeah, thanks!"
Team Airvent?
