Center Vent ( was cold start Problem)

Most likely a vacuem leak somewhere.  If you are lucky, it will be like the
problem I had which effected starting, cruise control, as well as the
intermittant operation of the center vent.

Aren't all Audis like this? The old ones anyway. The heater doesn't heat the
center vent. It's a "feature" not a problem. I think they are all like this,
though they might have changed at some point.
