I know, I know......on a cost per pound basis my Campagnolo equiped cycles
are several hundred times more expensive than my 88 Ur-q and I've spent
nearly GBP10k rebuilding that.

BTW, Campagnolo used to supply high-grade alloy forgings (wheels etc)
to a number of European car companies. The Countach ran on Campagnolo alloys
as did most F1 cars back in the 70's & 80's.
