Yep.  Those new 740i's are slower than a chipped 200q20v.  5th gear, 
it's close, since it takes a bit to get the turbo spooled up in 5th 
while that V8 doesn't need any spooling.  However, this nicely sets 
you up behind said V8 with time to drop into 4th, lie in wait for a 
few moments while Mr. Turbo catches some wind, and whammo :-)
