ABS light on help

Hi!

As I have the same car as yours (except that my steering wheel is on the 
wrong side for you or vice-versa :) ) and have been experiencing ABS 
light-on problems, just a few things to check:

1) what shape were the ABS sensor cables in? Weren't they torn or somewhat 
damaged? I'm pretty sure that this is what caused my light to stay on, at 
least until I decided to pull the fuse from the relay..

2) did you re-install the sensors correctly? i.e. push them all the way in 
and then pull them back "a hair"?

3) it could be the relay itself, on top of the ABS relay (under the dash on 
right-hand drive cars)
