This is informative for all those involved, including me, so here's what I
found at audiworld...apparently, these are the 15inch wheels and 16 inch
wheels available from audi that I can document so far...at least, those in
the 4x108 area...
15x6 - Audi 100, flat six spoke design ( I have a set of these, nice wheels)
15x6 (or 6.5) - Audi 90CS, flat six spoke design, but longer integrated
spokes (Maybe what Huw saw?
15x6.5 - Audi 100Q, BBS mesh type wheel - center cover
15x7 - Audi 90Q 20V, CQ - Speedlines, six spoke with polished lip and fake
nuts - center cover
15x7 - Audi 90Q, Cab., - 10 Spoke ronals - center cover (See
audiworld/models/historical/1994/audi cab...)
(note : this wheel was also used with 5x112 circle on 100Q's c. 1994)
15x7 - Audi 90QS, Cab. - 5 spoke ronal, polished lip, center cover - (See
audiworld/models/historical/1995/audi cab.) Have a set on my 4000CSQ now.
(note : This wheel looks like a 15" version of the S4 wheels. It was also
fitted to the
A6 in 5x112 c. 1995)
16x7 - Audi Cab, optional equiptment US 1997,1998. - 6 spoke design. Looks
most like Borbet Type "C" - very pretty, and no picture yet. "competition
package" - 400$.
16x7 - Audi Cab, optional equiptment Europe 1997,1998,1999 - 10 Spoke
(Ronal?) "competition package" - 400$. Looks like super touring wheels, and
I've seen a version on a Euro S6 before, so they also came in 5x112.
Geez - these are all that I can think of.......I'd love a set of either of
the 16's, but where to get them - I bet dealer replacement would be slightly
more than the listed 400$ for the competition package (and, that would be PER
a wheel!)
Any more info, I'm open - any leads, too! Thanks,
Carter
