does this sound like a good deal? - Re: do 5kS 4-bolt wheels fit a Quantum

Thanks for all the wheel fitment replies.
So, I don't have fitting wheels, but at least the tires (195/65/14)
appear to be exactly stock size.
Now, this Quantum Syncro is offered for $1850. I haven't driven
it yet, but according to the owner, it has 144k miles, bought 2 years
ago from orig. owner (through a charity auction, though he says he knows
the orig. owner personally) at 115k, timingbelt/waterpump done at ~110k
(he has paperwork from orig owner, but couldn't remember exactly);
he's recently had new rear calipers put on (that and other tune-up items
totalling $1000 last fall).
"No wrecks", though it has a shallow, large-area dent in the left half of
the tailgate
and a scrape/dent on the RF fender, with the turn signal and headlight
pushed
back about 3/8" and the headlight adjuster/mount broken (it pivots loosely
around two diagonally opposed corners); one segment on the RR taillight
is taped over.
AC is "not very cold", orig. owner replaced condenser shortly before
selling,
current owner thinks it needs recharge, but hasn't done it as it's of
course
espensive (can one do a 134a conversion?) and "we don't really use it
around
here [southern Maine]".
Of the original wheels, 2 are bent; on the car are "used wheels with used
tires";
the center caps seem to say Volkswagen on them (can't remember), though the
7-spoke design is not familiar. Tires are (slightly undersized at
185/60/14?)
Dunlop D60 A2.
Has a CD player; non-smoker; allegedly no winter use for 7 years until
seller bought it 2 years ago.
What should I watch out for? What funny noises should scare me?
Given that there are none, is $1850 good, bad, or average?
As for the Quantum Syncro as such, am I likely to run into spare parts
problems with parts that are neither from the 2wd-Quantum nor the 4kq?
The local junkyards say (without a pause to check their database - hm?)
that they have no Quantums at all; at least for wheels for winter tires,
many amply available VW wheels should do, correct?
thanks in advance.
