Yes, that is true, the KX and JT use the same connecting rod as the NG, thus
the different compression height, and would mean that they would not fit the
MC connecting rods (plus, they use the 20mm pin). If you swapped the entire
rod and piston, it would fit however, but at a sacrifice in strength, kind of
defeating the whole purpose.

Any thoughts on this? I was thinking I could use the pistons from
my "spare" Coupe GT motor, and put them in my '88 5kcstq to
bring up the c/r a bit to help it start rolling from a stop. I don't want
to put weaker parts in the thing.
