Everytime someone posts with a new problem on their type $$, my car
mysteriously aqquires the symtoms!  Someone mentioned gas leaks earlier in
the week, well now I have a leaking tank or fuel sender.

Symptoms

Puddles of gas on ground (duh)
NO hard starting in the morning (course this is POP starting as I'm
rebuilding the starter right now :P ), so its got to be the return line or
the tank itself.

I will get under the car when I get home tonight, but looking briefly last
night, at the 1st muffler there is a heat shield, this was soaked with gas.
Makes me glad I have another type $$ to drive till I fix this!  Course the
other car is having problems with its radiator too... but I wont go there
for now.

I know if im doing a tank its ALOT of work, dropping basically everything
off the back end of the car.  My questions are this...

If i got a crappy tank from someplace, can you get them recoated or whatever
to make them worthy of holding gas?

Anyone got a tank thats already out of the car that they could sell/donate?
