I was out last night in that deluge with the wife's A6. The Dunlop 5000s
worked just fine :)
I'm pretty pleased with the tires...for her car. They are a great all around
tire, quiet, decent handling wet/dry, pretty good snow grip, etc.
...but I am swapping those off for NRWs in about a month. Cheap insurance
against bodywork...

<sigh> You *really* should get a set of NRWs now, and then get a set of
Kumhos in the spring. The Kumhos are awfully cheap ($75 per tire or less)
and fun. :)
This is exactly the configuration on my S6. The Kumhos are surprisingly good
tires, both wet and dry...but I would *not* drive them in the snow. NRWs go
on my car just after the first flake hits the ground.
