Look at the afternoon session, you can't really compare between morning
and afternoon since the conditions and "watering" are very different.
my 4kq was driven by myself and a friend, (Jesse Fairbank) I screwed up
the last run although they didn't catch all 10 cones that I hit (only
5). My friend did fairly well considering this was our second
rallycross. He is about one third of the way down the list in the "Audi
4000). The fastest cars are almost all subarus, but then that goes of
the attendance of the event in general. Driver makes a huge difference
as does consistency. From watching them run, I would say that the WRX's
they appear to have a great deal fewer understeer problems than my 4kq
with its rear swaybar and stiffer rear springs. I suppose that has
something to do with better weight distribution and more chance for
power-on oversteer. Not that I would want to pay for or work on one of
those things.
Another thing to notice in the list is Cindi Lux, in a Carrera 4 and a
4kq.
