Don't know about the 6190, but my Nokia 3390 has a "screen saver"
feature where a picture is displayed on the screen in place of the
"Cingular" text and the center screen area after a programmable delay.
You can have a different picture for each profile (normal, discreet,
loud, silent, etc) you're running in. You can choose from 8 built-in
pictures, and the 3390 manual says that one more can be added, or the
existing ones replaced with different ones. However I can't find any
info from Cingular about this on their service side. Perhaps they will
offer this feature in the future. Similarly, you can send/receive
picture messages with the phone (those same pictures), and I assume also
any customized pictures as well. However I am not sure if Cingular
supports this function at their service yet. I didn't want to pay too
much $$ (because one has to pay for messaging in addition to the basic
rate), I didn't experiment with this too much.
Would be nice to have a cool Audi 4-ring logo as my screen saver though!
As to ringtones, the 3390 has a bunch included, and you can download more
over the Cingular network. You have to pay for each ringtone downloaded :-(.
To do that you need to sign up with Cingular's "My Wireless Window" web
site, and use your desktop computer to review/download them to your phone.
Sorry about the LAC here.
