how to reset the service interval indicator

hello,
owning an audi S6 20V 9/94 and new to the audi mailing list I was wondering
if it is possible to manually reset the service interval indicator showing
"oel" at the moment. Does anyone know if this can be done without the audi
diagnostic instrument?
