I agree, in public places I usually turn my phone to single beep beep
then vibrate.. Though I have to admit right now my phone ring is the 007
theme :)

And its getting to be a royal PITA. Today, one of my staff had his phone
ringing the 'Ride of the Valkuries', another had the Mission Impossible
theme and the final straw was when a visiting analyst left her phone
unattended and it proceeded to ring 'Waltzing Matilda'. I issued a
decree - for the rest of the week any unattended mobile which rings will
be placed in the lorry wash. If its got some d*mn stupid ring tone its
likely to visit the microwave on its way there.
