good one, well two known good ones. No help.
    The ABS light has been on for as long as he has owned the car. He has 
noticed that when he presses a window switch, the ABS light goes out.>>

       Based on the fact that we found commonality between the two items, we 
suspected that there was something that tied them together. There is. One of 
the grounds under the dash (not far from the rack of relays) had worked 
loose. He tightened it, took about two turns, and all is well.
