Whaaa tha hell??!! My V8

Guys tonight coming form Seattle in my V8, pull over get gas. Start the
car....damn, it's gone into limp mode!! Pull out, traffic behind me, pull
into another store...shut the car off, start again...OUT of limp mode. I'm
like " whaaaa?" anyway past Tacoma....my oil light starts blinking, and my
fuel estimator is reading something like 760 miles??!! I just had my oil
changed, and a new oxygen sensor put in, so what gives? The car was
definitely in limp mode, and when restarted, was definitely out of limp
mode....so what should I have my echaninc look for? It IS going in the shop
tomorrow. Any advice , concerns, or suggestions are appreciated in advance.
