I'm not sure if the Pontiac Firefly or Geo Metro came in Turbos, but the
Suzuki Swift GT did. I can't say I know a whole lot about the car, but I
know where I can get the info here in town. What did you want to know?
There are a couple that have been riced up in town that I can get answers
from. They are quick but, like typical rice boys, not the super cars they
are made out to be by their owners. A few freinds and myself were
interested in the hood scoop from it because there wasn't an aftermarket one
that small at the time. I have seen these used in rallies locally, but I
haven't seen one in a while. There is a site for a group near Toronto,
Canada that has a listing for Rally cars for sale. There might be one
there. I'll see if I can find a link.
Well, I searched my Database for the last hour and all I found was this
link.

In the first group of listings is one of those 3cyl fireflies you were
talking about. There's that odd number of cylinders for ya. MAC: Check
out all the Audis for sale in that list. It's not the Kitchener/Waterloo
link I was looking for, but it's got some stuff. The KW one had everything
from Open class prepared Lancers completely prepared and ready to go out of
the box, all the way down to strut bars and lights, and everything in
between. Good luck.

I know this has nothing to do with audis, but does anyone know anything
about the Suzuki Forsa Turbo sold as a chevy sprint turbo in the US and
in Canada as a firefly in '87 and '88? I think it would make an
excellent rallycross car, being really small and fairly powerful
considering its weight, and since it is a turbo probably modifiable well
beyond what the rest of the car can handle. It may have only cost 7k
new, but it came with EFI, that something to think about when I look at
the CIS mess in my 87 Audi. You can't go wrong with cars having an odd
numbers of cylinders.
