s3q and s4 coupe quattro

good new on the performance car developments according to autocar.

the new s3 looks a lot more interesting that the current model, with the top
s3 model having a 3.2l v6 n/a tuned to 340hp.  the car itself is only an
artists mock-up, albeit with inside information.  it has some of the
"steppinwolf" treatment, in the front-end and side windows, the overall
result is, to my mind, nice and creates a distinct impression, where the
current a3 looks classy, but bland.  also gone is the distracting bonnet
shut-line across the front of the current car.  it continues with the haldex
awd system.

the a4 coupe is a reality with the top model being "s4 coupe quattro" coming
with a new fsi (direct injected) n/a v8, also tuned for 340hp, and sub 5sec
0-100.  nice to see that the s2 line is going to be continued, and
significantly improved.

also interesting to note that there is no published 0-100 time for the w12
bugatti.  the factory is comfortable (!!) with publishing a 0-300 time of 14
seconds!
