Prolly too late for today...but I've run 44/40 (front/rear) on my S6 avant,
with 225/50 16s and 235/45 17s.

Seemed to be about right for the 16s - fronts got nice and warm, rears were
less so after a run.

...and not quite right for the 17s - the rears were still cold after a run.

These pressures were on the recommendation of Ned R., who knows a thing or
two about quattro handling :)
