Definitely. Pull back the rubber boot (not the trunk, Brits) and look for
broken wires. One major "gotcha" is that the broken wire may be in the
DRIVER'S side door boot. A grounding wire goes from the passenger door to
the driver door. Since the driver door opens and closes more often, it is
the first to break.
The accepted fix is to splice in new wire using butt connectors and a good
ratcheting crimper. Push the old wire back into the door and jamb, leaving
the new flexible wire in the boot. Search the archives for my complete
