hopelessly lost

Well, I was hopelessly lost this weekend driving around in the Phantom 
Lake area of Bellevue (WA) looking for houses. I accidentally poked down 
a side street/cul de sac and realized later I'd passed a house where a 
couple of guys were out working on their cars: looked like a 
just-washed red 5000 with maybe Borbet wheels and an anthracite 993? Are 
these guys on the list? A black Golf or Scirocco in the driveway?
