Each of my cars has needed brake cables. Brake cables are one of the few
true bargains allowed by the Audi gods. They are cheap, plentiful and
extremely well made, even from non-dealer sources. I recommend the parts
connection, where either right or left brake cables cost the same twenty odd
dollars and were indistinguishable from those I bought from the dealer for
more than twice as much.

Mine were for a sedan, but I only paid about $22. ea.
for the stock cables. They seem to last for many yrs.
