A few things made this possible, lots of cutting, had
to raise the alternator about 1", and move the bumper
forward about 1/2".

It is actually mounted in the bumper to the support
instead of the frame.  I have been trying to keep this
conversion as stock as possible, but eventually I got
tired of working in limited space and started
customizing.  It may not be pretty to some, but it is
very functional and that's about all I car about right
now.  I'm working on a couple of mesh grills for the
front that I will have powder coated black.  The lower
grill should be interesting.  I'll probably end up
going with three separate smaller grills for the IC
and the two spaces next to it.  As usual the intake is
only temporary and will be permanently done once the
EFI is in:)
