TAP modded K26?

I have said it before and I'll say it again....

STAY AWAY FROM TAP!!!!!

Ivor is a shady person to deal with.  The ECU "chip upgrade" they offer is
nothing more than the zener/resistor mod at a greatly increased price.  I
have personal BAD experience with them and will NEVER recommend them to
anyone for anything!

If TAP is offering a modified K26, I would be willing to bet you can get the
same or better from one of the turbo rebuilders out there for a cheaper
price.

Does anyone have any experience of knowledge of the modified turbo 
apparently offered by TAP?  I've heard it described as a "7 degree clip"?  
It sounds like it's a mod that removes some of the metal from the fins.  
Can anyone describe the mod and it's benefits and drawbacks?  Is this 
the "sport turbo" mod listed on their website, http://www.tap1.com?

I don't believe the mod involves swapping hot or cold sides with different 
turbos.

I have sent them an email asking these question as well, but I wanted to 
get some third party responses.
