No problem, and good luck.
On the Type 44 chassis, I think there have also been some comments to
check the license plate bulbs if this happens (don't pay as much
attention to those as I have no 44), but being as your problem is
intermittent, I would doubt this is the case.
When replacing the switch, check the connector on the harness side.
When the switch burns up, it sometimes will try to take the connector
with it... BTDT

not sure if the 4000 style switch is the same as mine, but I thought it
may be the switch.
