Rebuilt Bombs

Guess I'll add my vote of confidence about Russ' integrity and work.

I first met Russ when he bought some parts from one of my old cars. Chris
Semple and I were out in the Denver area for a Steamboat Qclub event, and
Russ, who only knew us from the qlist emails, allowed us to park the van and
trailer at his house for the weekend while we drove the 4kq up to Steamboat.
An uncalled for, but entirely appreciated gesture.

As for his sideline project of rebuilding bombs, I have used his services
twice in the past, and recommended him to my roommate once. All bomb were
received and worked as expected. Hassle factor was minimal, and we didn't
have to shell out the big dollars for a new bomb. Keep in mind that he
isn't making a living doing this, but offering a service to us Qlister
types.

I'd suggest you think about how many times you may have left a vendor
hanging from saying you wanted something, until you either changed your mind
or got around actually completing the transaction. If Russ was a company
doing this as a primary business, than blasting him to the list might be
more appropriate. Otherwise, be patient and keep trying the communication
thing. Otherwise, cough up the big dollars and just buy one new. But I'm
guessing the reason you were dealing with Russ in the first place was you
didn't want to cough up the big dollars.

Just my .02.
